Kara is the owner of Salon Gloss, and has been working as a hair stylist for over 14 years. She’s originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts. After spending six and a half years in the U.S. Army, Little Rock became her new home!

Her specialties include blonding, dimensional lived-in color, and extensions. Her favorite part of the job is being able to coach and mentor her team members– watching people grow and seeing all the lightbulbs go off is priceless!

When asked what she likes best about working with clients, Kara says: “It’s having the opportunity to truly transform someone. We have the ability to change someone’s whole mood. When they look good, they feel good! For some, visiting the salon might be the ONLY thing they do for themselves, and I never take that for granted.”
